Jai Park is Director of Operations with First Carolina Management and has more than 18 years' experience in hospitality management.

Jai is responsible for the complete operational responsibilities of all company-managed hotels, both limited and full-service. Some of these duties include: selection, approval, training and development of all hotel management, coaching and counseling General Managers in all operational areas, conducting regular audits (accounts receivable, food and beverage, revenue reporting, cash control, etc.), and reviewing sales and marketing efforts with hotel sales and marketing staff. Jai is involved in the training and development of each hotel sales department by attending weekly unit revenue meetings.

After receiving degrees in Biology and Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992, Jai began his hotel career with First Carolina Management as Assistant General Manager/Director of Sales at the Hampton Inn in Greenville, North Carolina. Later, he served as General Manager at various hotels in North Carolina and gained multi-unit experience as Area Director with First Carolina Management.

Jai is focused on all facets of hotel operations. He believes success in hotels comes from paying attention to details, never forgetting the basics, monitoring all operational costs, making sure the product is the best that it can be, and keeping customer service as a top priority.

Jai is an active member of the Nash County Travel and Tourism Council and serves as the Chairman of the Marketing Committee.

Jai and his wife Vicki reside in Greenville, North Carolina. They have two children, Matthew and Andrew.
